Hello!

We are so excited to have the second run of Alox Ramblers on the way to the USA from Switzerland that we decided that it warrants a newsletter, which will our last one in 2010. We also have the second run of Swissbianco exclusive Black Alox Farmer, as well as custom filework offering to decorate and personalize your SAK.

Second Run of Alox Ramblers

Orange Alox Rambler

In this second run of Alox Ramblers we have some pieces available with standard Victorinox silver scales with red cross (they are still on the way, so we don't have a picture yet). Only 23 pieces of these were made, so if you want one, order it now, as they will not last long! We also have a number of solid purple and orange ones. And, finally, a handful of one or a kind bi-colour (each scale of different colour) Ramblers will be auctioned on eBay.

The price for Silver, Purple, or Orange is $35 each.

Second Run of Black Alox Farmer

As with alox Ramblers, the first order of Black Alox Farmer SAK sold out so quickly that we did not have a chance to offer them in the newsletter. The second run or Black Farmers features Victorinox factory-engraved "SwissBianco.com" text on the blade.

The price is $60 each.

Custom Filework

Some time ago we tested fileworking treatment of the main SAK blade. The results looked great, so we obtained approval from Victorinox factory in Ibach, confirming that this treatment does not void the warranty. Since then, we ordered this treatment from filework artist, Tom Stratton, on all kinds of blades, from 58mm alox Ramblers to 111mm One-Hand Trekker. Tom's work proved to be so popular with our eBay customers that we decided to offer his service as an option on any SAK you purchase from Swissbianco newsletters.

The price is $15 per blade, regardless of blade size. Filework is done by hand, so each blade is guaranteed to be one of a kind! Filework is only available on the main blade, and the process takes at least 3 weeks.

Ongoing and Upcoming Projects and Events

We are actively working on a number of both SAK and non-SAK projects, and if everything goes well, the 2011 will be as exciting as 2010 (which brought us Swissbianco Bushcrafter, Damascus Pioneer. and Alox Rambler)! Keep an eye on our forums, Facebook page, and Photobucket albums for updates.
