New Swiss Army Issue SAK, Special Plain Edge Edition
|
This knife run is limited to only 100 pieces. It is a product of yet another
collaboration between Mr. Elsener and SwissBianco, and it is almost identical
to the new Swiss army issue SAK, with the exception of the user-friendly plain edge
blade and corkscrew (instead of the standard Phillips screwdriver).
A mini-screwdriver, which fits into the corkscrew, is optional.
We feel this is the best version of the 111mm theme to date. See more pictures and a video our website.
|
|
|
The price of this limited edition SAK is $60.00 each (mini-screwdriver is
$1.50 extra).

|
Wenger First Splash
|
|
At the IWA 08 Mr. Hug and SwissBianco agreed to collaborate on some projects, and
the first was a small run of splash anodized Wenger Standard Issue SAK with bail.
The scales are hard anodized using the same process as previously done with Victorinox.
A number of patterns are available (please ask for availability). Price is $50.00
each.

|
Firesteel Farmer SAK
|
Made popular by the late Mr. Brunner, a great Eidgenosse (old school Swiss citizen
doing things the right way), our version of the theme is based on an Victorinox
farmer SAK with fire steel and splash anodized scales. It comes with a piece of
special European fire fungus to catch the spark, as well as a piece of flint.
Here is that SAK in action, Damon Eggert shows how to start a fire.
Available in orange (shown above) and green camo.
Price is $80.00 each.

in Ibach.

since it was never made for resale. Price is $25.00 each.

Current Projects
|
|
As always, we have a number of projects on the go, including digital camo SAK (111mm
version, digital camo pattern both on the blade and on the scales), new splash flashlights
(the Quark, in collaboration with 4sevens), and a new fixed knife version
of the SAK!
The inch/mm-marked tweezers are currently at the engraver's, and will soon be ready.
To celebrate the Swiss Independence Day, August 1st, we will start a new SAK forum
in Germany, on www.messerforum.net.
I hope you will check it out from time to time!

|
On another, and very imortant note, your assistance is needed, since as many
of you have already heard, the Obama administration is attempting to do some slickery
politics by taking a very old Customs law that defined a switchblade and re-interpret
it, and re-define it, so that, essentially, no knife can be imported into the US,
if it can be opened with one hand.
This change in interpretatin will affect the majority of knifes coming into the
States, and will equate to lost jobs, lost revenue and the loss of the right to
have a knife you can open with one hand.
You can view the
video from ACTI and read more about the issue at acti.org.
We ask you to join SwissBianco and other knife makers and knife users by going to
this link
and letting your congressperson know that what they are doing is wrong.
