Swiss Bianco Newsletter Issue 2008, vol. 4 |
Welcome to the Christmas edition of Swissbianco Newsletter! As many of you know, I got my green card in November and finally emigrated to the U.S.A.! It was a lot of work to get settled down here, with all the paperwork required, but it has worked out. All of us here are positive that in the U.S.A., with the great laws, we will grow the business and be able to do what I love - making knives in freedom!
A number of projects I have been working on are now completed and ready for shipping.

I have custom assembled a number of pieces of 108mm Safari series SAKs, using brand new parts from Victorinox,

The blades are laser-engraved with serial numbers. As many of you know, the 108mm clip-point blades are quite rare, and I may never be able to get any more. So, get them while you can! |

I have 20 pieces of Victorinox-assembled Farmer SAK, hard
anodized
orange color alox scales with plain cross and engraving plate,
first time ever with pocket clip,
blades are laser engraved with serial number: $55 each. For those who dont like the clip, I have made 2 pieces without that feature: $45 each Also, in collaboration with Notecore/4sevens.com, I made 6 pieces of Nitecore flashlights in the same orange colour. 3 pieces use AA cell, 3 pieces use 123 cell. These are currently being assembled and would make an excellent companion to your Farmer. These are $75 each. |

| I am offering for the first time a variety of little Swissbianco KeyFobs. They are excellent on the key ring, as a zipper pull, etc. The materials/finishes are aluminium red, black, or splashed, as well as titanium with FireFlame finish. they are priced from $12, depending on the model. |

I still have a very limited quantity of +B Plain Edge Stayglow OHTs ($60
each), Red Alox Lumberjacks ($35 each) and Black Alox Lumberjacks
($45 each). New from Ibach is a limited supply of brand new 91mm stayglow scales, $12 each. These were not pulled off another SAK and never put on a SAK! I brought from Switzerland 3 pieces of Wenger Heritage 1893, with Swiss (low) serial numbers. These are offered for $450 each. |

| And, finally, I decided to offer one of my personal Swissbianco SAKs, damasteel damascus cutting blade, frosted finish tools, brass liners, ivory micarta scales. I only made a handful, this is only the second one I sell ($180). As it was not initially intended for sale, I have currently no pictures. I will make them and post in My Photobucket. |

I just got the good news that in 2 weeks I get the first delivery of the New Official
Swiss Army Knife!
It will be the rare "08"-stamped Swiss Army overrun, and only 4000 pieces will be made for the civilian market of that version. The price will be $49. The regular "09"-stamped version I will have avalable around May, 2009. Currently we do not now exactly how the new '08 and '09 SAKs will be shipped, in a standard box or the Swiss Army green sheath. Swiss rumors say the sheath was dropped, because of the cost. |

Another, news is that the Swiss Army did order 10,000 pieces of a special version
of the Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit. The overrun of these will be avaliable around end of April, 2009. The price is $185. This black oxide special edition tool comes with the Official Swiss Army green sheath. The pre-order for both SAK and Spirit is open now. Please note that these pieces will not be available for some time. Also, since I will only get a limited number, the preorders will be filled according to the numbered list. If your pre-order does not get filled, you will receive a refund. |

The the last batch of Swiss-made SBT knives (from $220) and NeckAngels (from
$95) are now available for sale.
As I have now starting to make these models in the U.S.A, those Swill-made pieces will be become collectibles! Please check with me for available finishes, paracord wrap, and Kydex sheath options. |

The new TacPen is coming fast. By the time this newsletter is out, the first 3 CNC-made protos should be arriving here. We hope to have the first run ready for the SHOT show in Orlando, Florida. |
